Presentation of the study of the Social Return of Investment of the Fundació Tutelar de les Comarques Gironines

On the 13th of March the study for the calculation of the Social Return of the Investment of a very important Girona-based Foundation (Fundació Tutelar de les Comarques Gironines) was presented in the town of Girona. On the basis of the SROI methodology the study has been conducted by a mixed team from Fundació Campus Arnau d'Escala and Gabinet d'Estudis Socials (GES). First transnational meeting of the COME FORWARD! project

On 18 and 19 of January the first transnational meeting of the COME FORWARD project was held at GES' premises in Barcelona. The main objective of this project is to raise the reporting rate of the hate crimes committed against LGTBI persons in the 9 EU countries involved in the project and to exchange good practices in this area. 


Participation in the Technical Session Inequality and Social Exclusion

On 20th December, GES participated as an expert organisation in the analysis of energy poverty in the Technical Session Inequality and Social Exclusion that was held in the premises of the Council of the Vallès Occidental. The intervention consisted of a brief presentation around this concept and in the participation in a workshop. 


Cooperative Points

In the framework of Line 1 of the call for grants addressed ro employability projects and to projects to create cooperatives and labour societies through a Network of Cooperative Points, GES, as a social economy organisation, offers its support to all those local authorities and associations that wish to become such Cooperative Points. Among other possibilities, this support may entail carrying out the diagnosis and visibilisation of the local social economies.
